Celebrations were in full swing as Randox Laboratories Ltd celebrated its Queen's Award 2007 in style with a Gala dinner and Highland ball. Lord O'Neill presented the prestigious award to Dr Peter Fitzgerald, the managing director of the company. Dr Fitzgerald paid tribute to and thanked all Randox staff for their hard work and contribution to the company's success. Randox staff, friends, customers and community representatives were among the guests at the celebration.

The Queen's Award for Enterprise (international trade category) is a coveted commercial prize and is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of Randox employees to become a key player in the global diagnostics market. This is the 5th time Randox has been awarded this title, an achievement to be proud of.

The award coincided with Randox's 25th anniversary, so celebrations took off in style with a champagne reception, followed by a grandiose dinner buffet. A Scottish Celidh band provided the entertainment on the night, and everybody put their best foot forward for a spot of set dancing. A wonderful night was had by all.
