The NPA's member event in Hendon, London attracted an attendance of 70 NPA members.

The purpose of the NPA event was to provide practical advice and information on how to maximise profitability. The event also provided an opportunity for members to view NPA support materials and tools that are included in their membership fee. Additionally NPA senior staff were on hand to answer any questions the audience had.

John Turk, NPA Chief Executive commented: "The event was well attended by members and provided them with a good insight into how community pharmacy should look forward with respect to business. The informal discussions during the evening provided members with an opportunity to speak face to face with NPA staff and discuss a wide range of topics."

Member events are planned for Scotland in July: Glasgow (1 July), Aberdeen (2 July) and Edinburgh (3 July). They will follow a similar format as the Hendon event. To confirm attendance members can email Mark Beckett on m.beckettnpa or download the booking form from npa and fax-back to the NPA. Attendees have an opportunity to win a LEC pharmacy fridge.
